Fi Woodfire Thai (pronounced “fai”, Thai for fire) was founded in 2024 from a simple belief: if you respect the flame, it gives back in flavour. After a beloved run at Robertson Walk, we reopened at Shaw Centre in July 2025, bringing our open kitchen and charcoal oven to the heart of Orchard Road.
At Fi, fire does the talking—smoke-kissed herbs, slow-grilled meats and wok aromatics meet bright Thai acidity. Our kitchen is led by Chef Arom Eploi (Kangar, Perlis), whose calm discipline and creativity were forged in his mother’s kitchen. “There’s no pretending with fire… If you rush it, it shows.”
The star is our Roaster Charcoal Oven (engineered in Greece): it sears, roasts and finishes at high heat, delivering juicy centres and caramelised edges. Expect familiar Thai dishes with textural play and modern plating—from Moo Ping Pork Ribs to Drunken Noodles—alongside vibrant salads and desserts.
